This piece holds a lot of passion, burning with the memory of what my art once was. This was the first after a year of no art. Life and people have a way of breaking one spirits down so much that even they stop doing what they love. My passion, my fire burned out, she reignited that passion and fire. The joy of reigniting my passion for what I love to do, to create and paint burns bright in this piece. Its me taking MY life back and doing what I want, no fear of judgment or ridicule no more. She is me in a way, wings spread, bathing in the flames that once hurt her. 

The red shines through harsh in this, for a reason. Never let others stop you from being you. No one controls your life, only you, so burn those who try and take the reigns. Spread your wings a rise from the ash. 

All paintings are made using lightfast paints and are varnished to stand the test of time.
